Advertiser & Affiliate Disclosure

1. Purpose of this disclosure

This disclosure is provided in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising (16 C.F.R. Part 255) and applicable consumer protection laws. It describes the financial relationships that may exist between Steward Technologies, Inc. ("Steward," "we," "us") and the credit card issuers, banks, financial institutions, and third-party networks whose products may appear in the Steward iOS application (the "App") or on our website at stewardflows.com (the "Site").

2. How we make money

Steward may earn compensation in one or more of the following ways when you interact with a card recommendation:

Direct issuer affiliate programs. Steward may participate in affiliate programs operated by credit card issuers, banks, or their designated marketing agents. When a user applies for, is approved for, or opens a card through a link or referral originating in the App or Site, Steward may receive a one-time or recurring commission from the issuer or its agent.
Third-party affiliate networks. Steward may participate in third-party affiliate networks that aggregate offers from multiple card issuers (including, without limitation, CardRatings.com and similar networks). When a user applies for, is approved for, or opens a card through such a network via a link or referral originating in the App or Site, Steward may receive a share of the commission paid by the underlying issuer to the network.
Sponsorships or promotional placements. From time to time, Steward may enter into arrangements with card issuers or financial brands for sponsored placements, in-app promotions, or featured offers. Any such placement will be clearly identified as sponsored where it appears.

Not every card shown or recommended in the App or on the Site is subject to a compensation arrangement. Some cards are included solely for informational or comparison purposes and generate no compensation for Steward.

3. What this means for you

You do not pay more for a credit card because Steward received compensation. Any compensation is paid by the issuer or network to Steward. The terms of the credit card you receive, including annual fees, interest rates, rewards, and benefits, are set by the issuer and are not affected by Steward's compensation.

4. Editorial independence

Steward's recommendations are generated by our recommendation engine based on inputs you provide (such as your card portfolio, preferences, and location) and publicly-available information about credit card features, benefits, and rewards. Compensation arrangements do not determine which card is recommended to you in a given context.

Where Steward has a compensation arrangement with an issuer or network, that arrangement is disclosed here and, where applicable, at the point of the recommendation.

5. What Steward is not

Steward is not:

A credit card issuer, bank, or financial institution
A financial advisor, broker, or credit counselor
A registered investment adviser
An agent or representative of any card issuer

Steward is an independent information service. Nothing in the App or Site constitutes individualized financial, tax, legal, or investment advice. Consult a qualified professional for advice specific to your situation.

6. Accuracy and change of terms

Card terms, rewards, fees, and offers are set by the issuer and may change at any time without notice to Steward. Information shown in the App or Site may be inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete. Before applying for or using a credit card, verify all terms directly with the issuer. You are solely responsible for confirming eligibility, offer validity, and any restrictions.

7. Your right to research independently

Nothing in this disclosure limits your ability to research credit card options independently, apply directly with issuers without using the App or Site, or seek advice from a qualified professional. Steward recommends that you comparison-shop and read the full terms of any credit card before applying.

8. Trademarks and attribution

All credit card names, issuer names, network names (including but not limited to Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover), loyalty program names, merchant names, and related logos are the property of their respective owners. Their appearance in the App or Site does not imply endorsement of Steward by, or affiliation with, any of those owners unless expressly stated.

9. Third-party network disclosures

Where a third-party affiliate network requires additional disclosure language as a condition of participation, Steward will include such language on the page or screen where the network's offers appear. Users can identify third-party network offers by the presence of the applicable network's brand mark or a disclosure link.

10. FTC endorsement disclosure

To the extent that any content in the App or on the Site constitutes an "endorsement" as defined in 16 C.F.R. Part 255, Steward discloses that a material connection may exist between Steward and the issuer, network, or brand being endorsed, in the form of the compensation arrangements described in this disclosure. Users should assume that any card recommendation in the App or on the Site may be subject to such a compensation arrangement unless expressly stated otherwise.

11. Changes to this disclosure

We may update this disclosure as our business relationships evolve. Material changes will be reflected in the "Effective date" above and, where required, announced in-app or on the Site.
